MEAM.Design - IPD 501 - EPIC

Your task for this two-week project is to design and print something epically unmanufacturable. There are only a few constraints:

1. The product must be printed in "natural", and then finished beyond the 3-d printed form.

2. The total "cost" for printing your part(s), as defined below must be less than $30

cost = ($5/in^3) * model + ($5/in^3) * support + ($1/hour) * print_time

    where model and support are both in cubic inches, and print_time is in hours

3. A 5.5-inch square wooden base will be provided for you to mount your object and into which you can engrave your name and any other details that you'd like.
